Safe Haven Community Center

Toppenish, WA

This position coordinates designated service programs, ensuring that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframes and funding parameters. This position requires independent program management and ability to make decisions to improve program and service efficiencies. Scope includes oversight of multiple positions, development and oversight of program budget, and program delivery accountability to meet desired outcomes. We're looking for someone with at least three years of experience coordinating programs who is also passionate about working with underserved populations. Qualifications

       *Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Business Administration or related field. At least 4 years equivalent experience in a comparable field may be substituted.

       *Experience: Three years coordinating programs. Two years' supervisory experience preferred.

       *Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Driver's License and applicable license/certification; some positions may require program specific certification.

       *Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Ability to work independently; ability to work with culturally diverse populations; ability to communicate effectively orally and written; ability to read and interpret program regulations; knowledge of human service programs and the ability to develop effective working relationships with social service providers and partners; knowledge of supervisory principals and fiscal practices; ability to work some evening and weekends.
