Job Details

This position provides overall administration and oversight of the Financial, Human Resources and Technology departments. This position is responsible for general oversight of bookkeeping functions such as; accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, purchasing, billing, etc.  This position is also responsible for annual budgets, financial reports and audits.  Additionally, this position will oversee and provide overall administration for the Human Resource and Technology departments.

Requirements

 

Minimum Employment Qualifications & Requirements:

 

        • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field, and two year experience performing comparable duties; OR

        • Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for up to two years of required education on a year for year basis.

        • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks

        • Demonstrated organizational, written and oral communication skills

        • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

        • Ability to set positive tone within organization

        • Ability to maintain confidentiality under extreme pressure

        • Maintain professional boundaries between residents and clients

        • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (provide Washington State driving record)

        • Must pass Washington State criminal background check

 

Desirable Qualifications:

 

  • Nonprofit Accounting Experience
  • Management or supervisory experience
  • Experience in grant billing and cost accounting
  • Experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in basic IT network administration
  • Specific experience in accounting duties related to grants, project accounting, low-income housing program, or working with low income or homeless families
  • Specific experience in grant billing and grant compliance
